DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO BOOK AN EVENT AT THE CLUB? 

The Hurlingham Club’s private events space is open to members and non-members alike.  

 

WILL WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE EVENT SPACE? 

The Hurlingham Club is open to our members all year round. However, you will have exclusive use of our event space and outdoor terraces; click here to explore the venue.  

 

WHEN CAN WE ACCESS THE EVENT SPACE?

We offer versatile event setups and where possible, offer flexible access times. During your initial consultation, our team can advise on availability for your chosen event. 

 

HOW LATE CAN WE STAY AT THE VENUE?  

Never ones to end the fun early, our late licence allows events to extend to 1am on Mondays-Thursdays, until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 12am on Sundays. 

 

CAN WE HAVE LIVE MUSIC? 

Yes! From Dire Straits’ frontman, Mark Knopfler, to opera, The Hurlingham Club has played host to many live performances over the years. Our facilities can accommodate a range of musical styles and performances within our noise level restrictions, and we would be delighted to discuss staging your desired act.  

 

Due to noise restrictions, doors to the Terrace must be closed during amplified performances. Guests may use alternative routes to enjoy our outdoor spaces. Live music must finish 15 minutes before the finish time. Last orders at the bar are 30 minutes before the finish time. 

 

CAN I HAVE LIVE MUSIC OUTSIDE? 

Our Grounds make for a stunning backdrop for live music, and we aim, where possible, to accommodate these requests. Outdoor performances requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, with respect to our residential neighbours and members. Please click here to make an enquiry. 

 

DO YOU HAVE STEP-FREE ACCESS? 

Yes, we have step-free access to the venue and accessible bathroom facilities situated in the Lobby.   

 

WILL WE HAVE ACCESS TO OUTDOOR SPACE? 

With your event hire, you will have access to our outdoor Terrace and beautiful Sunken Garden for receptions and as a stunning backdrop for photographs. Please discuss set up and how best to utilise these areas with our team. Please note that the wider Grounds are exclusively for members use only. 

 

CAN WE USE THE CLUB’S FACILITIES?  

Club facilities are reserved for members’ use only. However, some of the Club’s sporting facilities are available for hire when not in use by members. Please click here to speak to our Events team about hiring the Cricket Pitch, Croquet Lawns and Tennis Courts for your event. 

 

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE CLUB? 

Limited parking is available for guest use; we advise using public transport or taxis, which can drop guests off right at the entrance to the venue.   

 

ARE TAXIS ALLOWED INSIDE THE CLUB? 

Yes, guests can be dropped off at the entrance to the event space.   

 

IS THERE WI-FI? 

We have Wi-Fi available across the venue, which guests are welcome to use for the duration of your event.  

 

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT THE CLUB? 

Only support dogs are allowed in the venue. 

 

CAN WE USE CANDLES?  

Yes, candles are permitted. 

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL? 

We offer corkage options on wines. Other drink options must be purchased from our bar.  

 

CAN YOU HELP PLAN MY EVENT? 

Absolutely! Our dedicated Event Managers are on hand to provide expert advice at every stage of event planning, including last-minute changes on the day.  

 

CAN I DECORATE THE VENUE? 

Our venue offers a blank canvas for you to create your dream event.  Our Events team is on hand to help arrange logistics, and our little black book of suppliers covers almost every event request. 

 

CAN WE HAVE A FOOD TRUCK FOR THE EVENT? 

Yes, we have the facilities for food trucks to cater your event. Please discuss this with your Events Manager.  

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN CATERER?  

Our in-house team of chefs, specialising in modern British and European cuisines, provide all catering for the venue and will take good care of you and your guests. We are unable to offer our venue on a dry-hire basis. 

 

CAN YOU HELP WITH SUPPLIERS?  

Our trusted little black book of contacts includes ample suppliers, all of whom have experience working within the venue and therefore can offer specialised knowledge of their products.
