DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Food & Beverage team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of events in its East Wing. For its members, the Club boasts a busy brasserie style restaurant, a dining restaurant and a bar. Our versatile events venue host prestigious events in a fully adaptable Events Suite, ranging from meetings and conferences, to weddings and awards ceremonies and is available to accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a seated dinner.
As an F&B Assistant you will work on a permanent and full time basis, as per the F&B roster. This will include weekend and evening shifts. Typical duties will include:
• Clearing tables.
• Greeting and seating guests.
• Serving food and drinks.
• Taking food and drink orders.
• Polishing crockery, glass and cutlery.
• Learning and having full knowledge of beverage lists and menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Being able to assist members or guests with any special requests or allergy requirements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, prudence, integrity, courtesy. Candidates should have previous experience within a fine dining establishment, excellent customer service skills and a passion for working within hospitality.
