EVENTS PORTER
DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGE
THE DEPARTMENT
The Food & Beverage team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of the events in its East Wing. For its members, the Club boasts several F&B outlets. Our versatile events venue hosts prestigious events in a fully adaptable Events Suite, ranging from meetings and conferences to weddings and awards ceremonies.
THE ROLE
Hours - as an Events Porter you will work on a casual, roster basis, including weekend and evening shifts.
• Assisting in the set up and break down of all functions at the Club.
• Operating partitions to open and close off rooms.
• Moving and placing chairs, furniture and various equipment for each event.
• Using the equipment and machinery, as provided by the Club, in order to complete your duties.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, responsibility and courtesy. Candidates will have excellent team work skills and experience in a similar environment and role is desirable. Candidates will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure and be friendly, polite and diplomatic.
