ASSISTANT HARNESS ROOM MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: F&B - MEMBERS' F&B
THE ROLE
As Assistant Harness Room Manager you will work full time; 40 hours over five days, on a roster basis, including weekend and evening shifts. Typical duties will include:
• You will assist The Harness Room Manager with the smooth running of The Harness Room, Napier Deli and Playground Kiosk.
• You will have full knowledge of beverage lists and menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods, and be able to assist with any special requests or allergy requirements.
• You will lead, train and develop a small team.
• As well as taking part in service, you will assist in writing and coordinating rosters and ensure that the F&B Assistants complete their Food Safety and Allergens training.

As Assistant Harness Room Manager you will have an approachable and friendly manner and will have the ability to work effectively in all situations. Ideally you will have previous experience of supervising or managing a similar style brasserie restaurant. You will need to be confident and outgoing and able to demonstrate your ability to multi-task effectively in a busy environment.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Food & Beverage team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of events in its East Wing. For its members, the Club boasts a busy brasserie style restaurant, a fine dining restaurant and a bar. With regards to events, from meetings and conferences to weddings and awards ceremonies, the Hurlingham Suite is fully adaptable for formal or informal events depending on individual requirements and is available to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner.
